Mini-Sub

Today, I received my new Velodyne subwoofer. I tested out the little sub using Saving Private Ryan as one of my standard; iit did pretty well. I have to check it against other DVDs before I make a final decision, but it shows great promise in this area. I haven't check it with any decent CDs, however, I have a strong suspicion this sub is best for music. Nevertheless, look at the foot print of the SPL1000 compare to my broken JBL DPS-12. I'm willing to compromise. Also, by the way, the little guy weighs more than the big guy.
