Okay, so I've talked about the SACD that I purchased before. I love Boston, yes, but I needed to truly experience SACD. Well, the choices are rather mild, but I was able to purchase Norah Jones' first album. I'm happy to say that music in 5.1 is good. I think I would need a better setup to totally experience all the nuances offered by this format, but overall I'm still pleased with listening to music in 5.1

Although I am interested to hear the difference in sound you mention. I guess that's my inner dork talking :-)
